06

Technical and stage flow

Fast, safe changeovers depend on every group following the stage manager’s cues.

  • Do not move microphones, monitors, mats, risers, or power without the stage team.
  • Keep liquids away from electronics and keep all exits unobstructed.
  • Martial arts groups must inspect tatami joins with the floor manager before demonstrations.
  • Stop immediately if the stage manager or safety lead gives a hold signal.
07

Hospitality and communication

The stage manager or artist liaison is your route for water, schedule questions, access, and urgent needs.

  • Share dietary or accessibility requirements before festival week.
  • Keep your group together and reachable near your call time.
  • Only the stage manager can approve a timing or program change.
  • After your set, clear the performance area promptly and check out before leaving.
08
